- Co-founded WAIS Inc. in 1992, built the organization to $4 million in sales, and realized a profitable shareholder exit upon sale to AOL in 1995 for $12 million. Positioned the company as a publishing service for clients such as Encyclopedia Britannica, Boeing, WestLaw and others.
- Developed early online services in consultancy for Dow Jones’ DowVision and Apple’s AppleLink services.
- Co-founded Supermac Software, and designed publishing industry business models to acquire and release best selling Macintosh software such as PixelPaint. Supermac Software achieved sales of over $12 million with 50%+ profit.
- Recruited to Apple Computer in 1982 to set up and build their publishing industry relations program. Became their publishing evangelist, working with Microsoft, Adobe and others.
- Managed product line of college textbooks for Prentice-Hall. Developed their first electronic publishing trials in 1981.
